  • Host events and panels for pre-service educators of all levels

  • Run meetings and colloquiums, address concerns, and oversee all members and events

  • Head of Joyce Kilmer Middle School Mentoring Committee

Middle School Specialization Advisory Board Member

Collaborate with The College of New Jersey professors and advisors, local middle school principals, administrators, representatives from Mercer Street Friends, and Trenton’s Community Schools Coordinator, providing a student perspective on the development of the middle school specialization curriculum

  • Strategized with the Dean of Education and other committee members to increase collaboration and collegiality within the department

  • Organized and facilitated events for the School of Education including the Freshmen Meet and Greet and the STEM Education Conference

Kappa Delta Pi (Education Honor Society) Member

 

Established an ongoing joint venture between Kappa Delta Pi, CMLA, and Greek life to collect and distribute school supplies to students attending Joyce Kilmer Middle School

Kappa Delta Sorority Standards Board Senior Representative

  • Nominated for and elected to Kappa Delta’s Standards Board due to high value placed on morals, integrity, and ability to remain impartial when making decisions

  • Handled all disciplinary measures including conferencing with the woman in question and deciding on sanctions
